The world greatest amplifiers! The Experience mono 300b amplifier by Trafomatic Audio is the company’s first statement amplifier. The amplifiers are really stunning to look at. They are beautifully handcrafted in piano glossed wood, laid out in such a way as to provide the shortest paths between components. With oversized output transformers encased in an attractive gold finish, the Experience Reference amplifiers continue the Trafomatic Audio tradition of producing tube audio of true work of art.
The monoblocks run on JJ ECC99s, tubes specifically developed as 300B drivers, Trafomatic’s new toroidal filter chokes, It houses epoxy resin-potted 10kg/22lb double C-core output transformer, three toroidal filter chokes and the interstage transformer for 7 transformer/chokes per mono, WBT connectors, a black piano finish with gold transformer cases and twin tube rectifiers (1 x 5U4G and 1 x EZ81) and outputs 15Watt with the JJ300B triodes.
As for sound quality the Reference Mono amplifiers presents a grand palette of musical textures in in classic single-ended triode fashion, low end is tight and dominating, glorious midrange and extended high-end for miles away. These amplifiers are truly impressive, imaging is superb with holographic details and the sound staging is vast in depth and width. While the sonics are mind blowing, they don't detract you from the music in any ways, everything comes out so naturally with real emotions. The reference mono’s are dynamic amplifiers that deliver a solid sense of beat and a convincing portrayal of musical tempo that faithfully capture the way live music flows over time. Sonically the reference Mono recover a lot of detail, provides very good articulation of vocals, give a large sense of space and soundstage and build on rock-solid imaging.
