With capabilities to the amazing, near to full sound scale, high-fidelity sound reproductions that far beyond to her tiny size, the Maximus-Mini+ monitor presents a direct challenge to ordinary “full-sized” hi-fi speakers!The compact size and stunning sonic performance of the Maximus-Mini+ monitor enables her to be used in practically any application where a full range, high fidelity speaker is desired, and space is at a premium. Because of her compact size, the Maximus-Mini+ speaker may be used in a wide variety of applications. From the mini monitoring system for Pro-Audio to Home Theater, Stereo Hi Fi reproduction, and PC station and gaming systems, the Maximus-Mini+ monitor enables everyone to enjoy true high fidelity sound from an incredibly small package. After long research, having uniquely developed the super-thin diaphragm craft on his Dreams-a drivers and incorporated the new QMA design on the SX woofers, the Maximus-Mini+ speaker has proven how a puny speaker is possible to create a huge sound and unparallel performance; a great innovation by M&D again, to challenge the mission impossible! The two-way, bi-wired Maximus-Mini+ features one DM-2a Dreams super tweeter with only the 0.0125mm, one-half thickness super-thin diaphragm design. The DM-2a driver is installed on the front panel to cover a very wide audio range from 950Hz up to 35KHz over the original DM-2’s 1.4KHz crossover point; this modified Air Motion Transformer covers 5-octaves band with superb detail and impressive dispersion characteristics! On the other hand to the new 4.0” SX woofer with M&D’s uniquely QMA (Quantified Magnets Alignment) design, having unparallel ±9.0mm (0.7”) Xmax excursion, the SX4.0q-0.7 woofer has been assembled onto Maximus-Mini+ speaker; a stunning bass reproduction on amplitude (under high SPL output), frequency (for system F3 down to an amazing 48Hz), and full Q-control (along with the complete excursion range) have been optimized within this tiny body.
